Wedding Party Popper

By · Comments Comments Off on Wedding Party Popper

Here is another terrific wedding idea for you. Take an ordinary party popper that you can usually get year-round, peel off the label and replace it with your own custom label made from printable vinyl. You could put an image of the happy couple, or their names like I did here. You could even make a small round label to put on the end of it.

Chapstick Wedding Favor

By · Comments Comments Off on Chapstick Wedding Favor

In this project, I used an ordinary tube of chap stick. I removed the factory label from the tube and the cap, then I measured the dimensions of the label so I could create an exact size label with my printable vinyl. Make the label a little long so that it overlaps itself, and no white shows from the plastic tube. On my silhouette studio software, I created a cute label with a couple’s name and wedding date. I then printed it out using my inkjet printer and cut out the label with my silhouette SD cutter. Then it was just a matter of peel and stick and now I have a customized chapstick to give out at the wedding.

Valentines Day Card Printable Vinyl Project

By · Comments Comments Off on Valentines Day Card Printable Vinyl Project

I created this Valentines Day card using only my computer, printer, Silhouette SD, and Printable Vinyl. I took a couple of different “papers” and layered them together, then I layered on the birds and the center image. I then just had to print out the project on my vinyl and cut it out and stick it onto a blank card!

You notice the “kiss me” and “hug me” surrounding the project. I had them cut in a circle, and used those to take full advantage of my sheet of vinyl, then I peeled them off and stuck them on the bottom of Hershery’s kisses and hugs!

Plaid Pattern Names on Glass Block

By · Comments Comments Off on Plaid Pattern Names on Glass Block

In this project, I printed out a sheet of this red plaid on my printable vinyl, and used it to cut out names to place on glass blocks, I happened to use a cricut to cut these names out, and I also used one of their little star shaped ornaments to embellish the blocks a little bit. Then I popped popcorn with my air popper and filled the blocks to add even more depth and texture. Here is the video:

The Cricut Imagine can print images and cut them out. The Cricut Imagine can print and cut on vinyl, paper, cloth and anything else you can think of, but the number one advantage to the Cricut Imagine is printable vinyl.

The Silhouette can also cut out images and designs in printable vinyl that are printed on your existing inkjet printer. Through the included software, you can design images to be printed, then cut out. The Silhouette software prints marks on your page so that the Silhouette can find its location when you go to cut and then it will cut exactly where you want it to.

Printable vinyl allows you to create the projects that you’ve always imagined in your head, but were unable to create with plain old cricut vinyl. Your imagination truly is the only thing limiting you on what you can create with printable vinyl. Until now, the craft world hasn’t been able to wrap their minds around the idea of printable vinyl as something that you can do at home with your own printer and craft cutter machine, but the future is here.

Have you ever wanted to add more depth and interest to the plain colors that you’ve been using from plain old cricut vinyl? Have you ever wanted to make your own stickers, or print out pictures of your children and put them on a glass block or mirror or tile or board? Printable vinyl is the answer you’ve been looking for, and it is easier than you think.

Printable vinyl is similar to other cricut vinyl. It has a backing that keeps the adhesive ready for sticking onto whatever your project requires, and on the front, the printable vinyl is a matte white finish. The picture quality that is possible with our printable vinyl is truly amazing. Any images or pattern that you can find can be used  to transform your printable vinyl into rich and interesting sheets of cricut vinyl and Silhouette vinyl that can then be used for limitless projects.

The Cricut Imagine uses 12×12 sheets of printable vinyl. The Silhouette uses standard 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper size. These are available to purchase exclusively through Our Affiliate
